Transmission interchangeability ?
Is it possible to install a SE 6 speed gear set part#33102-03A for a '01-'06 Touring,'00-'06 Softail in a '00 FLTR case? Can the case be modified? Or would I have to find '01+ case? Found a killer deal on a low mileage gear set.

Reading the install instructions it would appear that you can. Have you looked at them?
There are other parts required as well as a special drill plate for modding the transmission.

I would consider Baker Trans before I went this route, theirs is a direct bolt in from 5 to 6 speed. Was considering that on our '03 before I went the 2012 RGU route.
Actually sat and worked the cost numbers, to get the engine I wanted with the trans and the bigger rear tire then modding the bike to fit it all in and make it look good was too far out to even consider as I am now enjoying much the same but in a assembly line machine. Even as I loved the '03 RK I moved on and up without spending way too much and still having a '03 RK.

They have the parts lists in them both, so you can compare item by item, also cost any differences.
