I am really impressed with the 2014 upgrades but keep trying to convince myself to just wait for 2015. I know I will be buying a Limited to replace my 09 ElectraGlide, which is still a great bike to ride. Will it be worth it to wait for the next model year??
Definitely worth the wait if you're in the cold north, but San Diego, where you can ride all year.... Ummm, now that's another question. Guess, you'll have to answer that one. I think I'd wait, just to get a look at the redesigned Road Glide.
And what would be the reason to wait? They have already fixed the two issues they had with part suppliers that caused the leak and clutch recall. These bikes are freaking awesome and easily the best stock harley I've ever bought! Get the 2014 this winter when you can possible find a deal and be ready to ride come spring time!
..someone would have to be nuts in my opinion not to wait and see what the new Road Glide will be, seeing that it might be out in 3 months according to rumor, even if not, it's only 7-8 months for 2015's......could be a game-changer...I wouldn't even CONSIDER one of the twin-cools right now...I believe those will be a one-year only design...we'll see soon!
He said he was looking at the Limited and they will not change anything for 2014. The 2015 won't be out till next September and they will be top dollar when they first come out. Now if you were interested in the RG then I could see waiting but the redesign may not be seen until 2015 and that's no guarantee.

you really think they spent all that time and money in R&D for it to be a 1 year deal, you have got to be kidding yourself if you believe that statement.
If you want to ride a new and improved ride this spring buy a 14 now. If you are interested in a RG wait. By the way my crystal ball told me the new RG will have the same engine the Limited has now. Because like every 14 Limited owner will tell you it's the best engine HD has made.
