Considering Roadrunner. I met the guy who started it before he got killed. He had a good idea and I think they're holding true to what he wanted to do.
The magazine I wish were still around is Cycle.
I think his wife and sons have done a great job maintaining his vision. They've grown the publication well, without sacrificing it's original intent.
Christa, his wife, showed me how hands on and down to earth she is. I sent a quick note of appreciation to them one time to their blind email. She answered personally. In turn, after some conversation via email, she helped me with some perks for my MSF students. Can't get more in touch with "your public" than that.
I get/got em all..since we have 6 months of winter I gotta have something to do!
My favorites that I have coming now are
American Iron , Rider, Roadrunner.
I have a subscription to Baggers magazine and fairly well like it. Like all the new baggers based mags it mostly shows the pimped out big wheel bikes but also has a touring and tech article in each mag too. The biggest advantage to print magazines is the ads. I have found ads for things I never knew existed or that I needed so bad. LOL You won't find that online as easily.

Exactly. I've gotten more ideas from the ads than from any other source. Unfortunately that's probably made my average price per issue a helluva lot higher than just the subscription.
Why bother, the forums are way better.
All the mags are is a bunch of ads and feature bikes that look alike, plus the "tech" articles are nothing but a series of ads in disguise, how many air cleaner and slip on/exhaust articles have there been ?? Just read the 6 good pages in any one of them at the store and save your money for gas.
