Wow, still working on the bars?? I don't feel too bad taking 2 months to put front wheel and fender on... Are ya doing the forks too?? I'd look on ebay for some exchange lowers. Racetech springs are much better than progressive springs! I'd also look at gold valves or better yet Ricor valves; https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...rk-better.html

Two weeks ago I pulled it apart...stock bars off in 25 minutes...wire harness kit was short two wires. Been waiting on those...with the bad weather we had last week we did not get mail except the last couple days...ran wires in bars last night...now mounting today...

Are you sure the 2 wires you are waiting for aren't the grip heater black and white pair? If you don't have heated grips they are useless and unnecessary.

No...I got all 17 and they are wired now...in the repair manual it shows the standard 12wires...the other 5 are for cruise...left control two wires to the on/off switch and the right control has three for the set/resume switch..
