Hey guys I have a 2008 FLHX that I'm rebuilding and want to get some new gauges does anyone have an idea of gauge kits made for baggers? I found a company called Medallion but wondered if there was anything else out there thank you for any input.

Dakota Digital. They sell both digital and analog gauge sets.
Dakota are the most popular. Be warned they are pricey. I personally think that digital style of their gauges is a little too 80's for my taste, but they look cool at night.

I like their analog gauges. As well made as the digital units, and like you mentioned, fits the Harley style much better IMHO.

I have wanted to replace my guauges as well, but as said Dakota digital is like a grand for the gauges and the ones you mentioned are not that far behind in price. I'm going to look into the company here called "gauge mods" I just want the lighting to be blue like the faiirng.

I used GaugeMods. Here's what the blue LED's look like.
Find a set that are guaranteed to work with your bike. There was thread a few years back where a set of replacement gauges caused electrical problems on a bike that was under warranty and the moco advised and proved the gauges were the problem. The gauge supplier would not refund.
I have been gauge shopping for a year. The best gauges I have seen and will install on my bike are the Dakota Digital analogs. Seen a lot of bikes with the HD titanium and spun aluminum gauges, but not for me. The Medallion gauges are good and good price, but the security light flashes the first five minutes only and lacks the miles remaining capability. I considered a number of the gauge mods and prefer to just replace the gauges.
