+!. You can really tell the difference open versus closed. The block a lot of wind when closed.

Its suppose to be 50deg here Friday so I'm going to take a run before I put them on so I can get a good before and after feel. If I like them going to ship them off to my painter and have the fronts painted to match the fairing.

I had kurys on the 06 SG. The new ultra comes with their own. They, when open, rub the tank and fork lock. Living here in Phoenix, I'd appreciate the breeze but never felt too much difference.

I took mine off to have them painted, what happened to me is I don't tuck my shirt in when riding, without the deflectors wind hits my lower fairing and then my legs causing air to ride up blowing my shirt up.
So it's mandatory for my batwing fairing, makes a big difference for me.
Again, with being a Harley owner, many different opinions!!

I put the fork deflectors on last spring an noticed less turbulence coming up around the tank. I put the fixed fairing deflectors on later in the summer and they just about stopped all the air coming up in my face. The inside of my nose used to get dry and start to itch but not anymore. They both deflect the rain. My deflectors came with screws.

Wouldn't be without them. If you don't have the adjustable one's then pull'em off and return them for the good one's, you wont be sorry, been there done that.
