How are you guys avoiding the vibration messing up the video? The fork mount or helmet mount should work great but anywhere on the crash bar or fairing vibrates too much for me. I've tried Go Pro and others and the image stabilzation isnt good enough to compensate. Ive tried this on my 09 SG and 14 SGS and the 14 is a little bit smoother.

.

Using a few GoPro mount pieces, to get the camera at a decent angle, it vibrated ridiculously when I had it mounted off the engine guard. So much, that the video was unwatchable.

I also tried mounting it on the front edge of the fairing, above the headlights, using a sticky base and no additional pieces.

Then, I got GoPro RAM mount U-Bolt and mounted it on the engine guard, below my highway peg mount. I clamped the arm down, such that it was braced against the highway peg. Vibration was minimal, except at some RPM ranges. See the video in my previous post.

I think the vibration is minimal with the fairing mount. There will be some initial vibration when stopped due to the Harley's excessive vibration but once rolling it is minimal.

Here is a vid from the fairing mount.

Like already said I don't think the vibes are that bad once underway. At low RPM or when idling it can be excessive.

I used a tripod ram mount attached to my pro pad flag mount.
