Aftermarket tour pack
Happy Holidays gang,
For my next mod, I'm looking at an aftermarket tour pack. I'm not even considering the HD tour pack. I love the look of the chopped tour pack. But I want something to be used for chilling around with the OL, occasional overnight trips and trips to the grocery store.
I've read a lot of threads where it's be advised to get some sort of a metal plate to secure the bottom of the pack. Forgive my ignorance but what's the actual name of this plate and where would I find one.
Despite my criticism, I've decided to go with the Mutazu chopped tour pack from eBay. It's fully assembled. Over time, if I feel the need, I'll change the hardware. But for now, I'm concerned if I need to get this mysterious metal plate.
