Great video! Thanks for sharing. My wife got me one for Xmas too. The Hero 3+ Silver. I'd been wanting one for so long. I don't understand the haters, and why they can't comprehend or see the value that capturing videos and pictures of ANY and ALL events in your life as memories. The GoPro such a huge advancement in technology available to the general public and a God-send for all action sports. The possibilities are endless, and with creative editing of the videos the can be very entertaining. I'm so psyched to start editing the few rides I've recorded. Until then Heres some cool videos captured with the GoPro to give you ideas and inspiration. http://mashable.com/2012/09/27/aweso...89e411cf000481

Finally got around to attempting my first Harley-ride video with the GoPro. I either need to get a second suction cup mount or some ram mounts for the handlebars. I was only able to mount one camera for the 180 round trip to the mountains, whereas two cameras would have been ideal.
Anyway, I did a composite 90-second video from clips taking using three different perspectives with GoPro's CineForm editing software.
I have been salivating over these cameras for a couple of years; so I finally got one on Saturday. We are doing a fly in and rental in Scottsdale Az., for a ten day ride through Arizona. Plan on seeing Monument Valley, Grand Canyon, Sedona, Williams etc. Still mapping our route. I am going to test drive the camera on a few local rides first.
Because I've never been on a ride and thought, "crap, should have brought my camera".
With GoPro you never have to stop to get it out. I mount mine to the crash bar, I can reach the buttons. I leave it on and record when I want to and turn it off when I want.
Review what you recorded, if there's nothing significant delete it and you have an empty SD card again.
My kid has a GoPro mounted to a Quadcopter and sends me amazing video all that time. Fortunately he was born with an imagination.
