Default Lock jamming

FLHTCU 14
When I unlock it sometimes it sticks, won't turn. The only way to get it unstuck is to keep pushing it in until it works. Doesn't happen all the time. I took it to the dealer but as I said it only sticks sometimes. They couldn't get it to stick.
Anybody got any suggestions. Any help would be appreciated.

2014 FLHXS. Mine did it the first 6 or 8 times also. I moved the handlebars while unlocking it and that seems to have done the trick. No more issues so far.

Try moving the handlebars a bit when unlocking.

Remove the lock assembly and clean. Then lube with a dry, graphite-type lube and not a wet lube. Reassemble.

Or, as suggested above, move the bars a bit as you lock/unlock and see if that helps.

Tried rocking handlebars, that worked on my Crossbones. When it sticks the only way to get it to release is push it in and out until it turns.

Use a white grease. Sounds like the pins in iin the lock are sticking.

As a professional Locksmith for over 25 years, I advise you NOT put graphite in your lock. Graphite is a powder, so it is also an abrasive. If your lock is sticking, WD-40 is the absolute BEST thing you can use. Graphite will gum up your lock when it gets wet, and will then turn rock hard when it dries. You do what you want to. You now have two opinions.
