Default 2014 Limited Wiring

Just got new 2014 Ultra Limited after trading my 08 Ultra Classic. I was told my Road Zeppelin seat would work on 2014, seat fits but I can't find 4 pin plug on 2014 Ultra Limited? Do I need to buy an adaptor

Yes. The 14's don't have the plug under the seat that previous models had. I believe there is a adapter harness available that plugs in under the left side cover.

You need the Touring Electrical Connection Update Kit (Part no. 69200722). This will provide you with the proper connector.

Yes, you do need the connection kit mentioned above. It plugs in by the fuse box and has a pig tail you run up under the seat. As you have found, The seats from the older bikes will fit. But the passenger part of the seat is a couple inches taller on the 14's. I put the Hammock seat off my 12 Limited on the 14. Worked fine for me. But because my wife sat a couple inches lower the backrest hit her higher on the back. Her lower back would start hurting after riding about an hour. She didn't have any issues with the stock seat. I guess that's why for the 14's there are two hammock seats listed. One if you have the tour pack and the other which fits previous years with or without the tour Pak and the 14's without the tour pak. The one designed for use with the Tour Pak will work with the standard rider backrest but not the adjustable. I ended up ordering the Hammock seat made for the 14's and she can ride all day now without any issues. Just wanted to point it out in case you carry a passenger.
