Don't mean to hijack the thread, but that 41 ford looks sweet you have there. It must be your wife's though, with all that pink. LOL I had a 40 Ford Coupe for about 15 years after I built it, then just got tired of 4 wheels and dropped too two.

Been reading many post about ape hangers, different lengths, some can use stock cables and wires others can't. I have a 2009 EGC. 5' 10" and not sure if I want the 10" Yaffe Classic Apes or the 11" Santee. Both look good and have great reviews. Didn't really want to replace the clutch cable or the brake line (got ABS).

I have most of the winter to decide but would love to start working on them.

I had the same thoughts as you and went with the WO578's and love them. 2 " taller than stock and are adjystible and look nice. Right to the top of the fairing

I'm thinking the wo578 or sweepers are what I want. Unless they have changed I had the reduced reach bars on my 2005 roadking before my apes and didn't like the grip angle at all.

I'll go one step further; apes look ridiculous on fairinged bikes. I had 575s on my Limited, I'm considering 578s for the CVO.

There are many who would say otherwise but you are entitled to your own opinions. I happen to love mine.
