Welcome to the bagger side! Like you, I find the Classic perfect for the daily commute and the longer weekend rides when we go two-up. Got my '01 Ultra in April last year and thought the bigger bike would be clumsy and slow, but I was wrong; it's just the operator! :-) It did not take long to adapt to the new weight and handling, now I find it very nimble and a great ride.

Congratulations!

Very nice bike. These are so comfortable to ride, they just beg to go on long trips. Enjoy and ride safe.

You'll find more and more to love as you ride it too. And a Street Gide seat is a great addition when the tour pak is off. Found mine on local CL for $80.

You know I totally agree. I am really surprised how nimble this bike is. It is much easier to ride in tight spots than the V-Rod. Thanks for all the replies. I really do love the bike. Really hoping we have a short winter in Virginia now.
