Trying to order hand controls from eBay, just had a question for some of you that have them. Did you buy oem chrome, or aftermarket? If aftermarket what brand, custom chrome, exchange.....etc? Any brand or seller I should stay away from?
I have Kury control covers, perfect fit. 5+ years no problems.
If you buy direct from Kury and ever have an issue they will replace whatever it is that goes bad no questions asked.
I like the thought of the kury covers, seems sooooo much simpler than a bleed. I just got done watching an install video, the only thing I didn't like was the way it leaves the underside of the cover open on the MC side....... Still like it though
Not a big kury fan..... But I DO like their windshield mounted mirror kit with turn signals..... Man, I HATE fork mounted turn signals!

I have always gotten HD parts since if you change out the master cylinder it takes a HD tech to make the ABS work again. Since they were going to have it anyway, I just let them do the work.
Plus 1 these parts he sell are very nice. I think they are OEM that have been chromed. I think the kuryakyn covers look way to big and bulky.
Yes Rick9662's parts are OEM and he chrome plates them. I have bought a lot of chrome from him for several bikes and have been satisfied with all. I don't like covers I figure it just let's dirt get in between.
Stick with genuine Harley Davidson parts. You spent a lot of money buying your bike, why add "cheap" parts? They tend to fit and look better. my humble opinion based on experience.

If you can see that part while riding, your doing it wrong.
The only ones that will see it are the bikini girls at the bike wash or who ever you run over!
It's not a bad way to go, when my master cylinder needs work I'll probably replace the whole thing with a chromed unit. I'll still be able to sell my used cover for a few bucks.
I have some pictures posted that should give you a better idea of how they look.
Yeah, I'm still on the fence about it..... I looked at the eBay store you guys reccomended, and at oem new parts and the kury covers..... As well as custom chrome, which I hap put on my deluxe, with pretty good results. I'm a non abs owner, so I can do my own work, maybe by going with a set of controls, I can finally install a new set of speed bleeders, which I LOVE
