I like to support our sponsors but the Kuryaykn Floor Board Relocators IMO are a better buy than any of the others. For less than $ 80.00 they will move out 1" and forward 1"

Soos-Kits.com extensions are manufactured by a forum member, too.

He makes 3/4" and 1" extensions that move the floorboards OUT. I opted for the 1" extensions on my FLHX. They not only work great, but they also look great, too. You can't even tell that they're installed!

Here's a photo:

I went with TallBoys cycles product, they are a bit pricier but they are actual replacements for the stock footboard supports that moves the footboards downward, which us taller guys really need. they move you downwards in front, 2" forward and 2.5" downwards in the heel. For the short time I had to ride with them before winter, I've not dragged any (but I don't ride aggressive, either). I also added the extended brake/shift levers and eliminated the heel shifter like many folks here and the difference is like night vs day. I suppose you could combine this with the others mentioned for even more room.

Am I one of the few who need mine moved back rather than more forward? I'm 6 feet but have a shorter 31 inch inseam. I find that the backs of my calves get strained after a few hours with my legs extender more forward on the stock boards. Mine are already moved out 3/4 of an inch which made a huge difference. Now as I mentioned, I'm going to try the Kury product on reversed sides to move my boards back 1 inch instead of forward and to also add one more inch out away from the bike. This should put my lower legs straighter down rather than extender forward. If I want to stretch out, I'll use my highway pegs. Just wondering if anyone else is in the same situation and if so, what was your solution?

This setup sounds interesting. Do you have any pics to share? At 6'5" I'd like to lower my legs without scraping. I currently have extended floorboards & Harley Goodies extensions, which is better than stock setup, however, I would prefer my legs also lowered. Do these raise the front of the floorboard more than stock but lower the rear more?
