2010 SG wheels on an '08

Default 2010 SG wheels on an '08
I have an '08 SG and I can get a pretty good deal on some stock '10 SG wheels that have been chromed. I like the look of the 10's over the 08's even though they are similar.

What all would be needed to make the switch??

The rear is too wide. The front will bolt right on assuming it is the same ABS/non abs as you have.

The hub of the '10 wheel is too wide for your swingarm and the stock tyre is wider than your fender! One member has cut and welded both swingarm and fender, to install that wider wheel, but what is needed are suitable skills and equipment.

Ok, so it looks like I'll just grab the front then! Do I need different brake rotors or are they good to go as well? Thanks for the help!

My front rotors from my 08 wheel bolted right on my 10 front wheel.

It's a direct bolt on. If you get a front wheel thats ABS and yours is not…all you'll need is to purchase ABS bearings from the HD dealer
