How much room ya want? I moved mine back an inch by drilling new holes down through the plate and moving it back...easy to do. If you want more room than that at a reasonable price contact George Anderson as his kit he sells is like $95 shipped. Steve (maineultra) has one if you need to get some feedback.

I brought the extender from George Anderson. To me (wife)it was a great investment. Moved the seat back 2 1/4 inches. The bracket is professionally made. Heres my story, I broughta 05 and the 1st thing the wife said I feel like I`m sitting on your back, need more room. So i search in here about this and find HD sells a aftermarket bracket for around $199, and george has one also, $125 including shipping. I`m thinking what does George`s bracket look like, others whohave it say its barely noticable on the bike. I call george (cell phone)a ask about getting one, he says I`m heading to the USPS right now I`ll get it in the mail to you what is your address, well 1st I`m thinking this guy dosnt know me and he`s mailing it before I pay, 2nd I want it tomorrow and tell him I want it next day air, which he tells me he pays shipping but that will cost extra, gets my address, ok Geroge let me know what how much it is. I call him back 3 hours later. Its in the mail, gave me his address so I could send payment. I wish there were more people like George. I get the bracket it is a peice of Art, well designed, looks professional.I belive it was milled fron a CNC machine.Took me about 30-45 min to install only because I didnt take the time to look at the instructions properly. Wife Loves it!! Bottom line its one of those purchases you dont ever think about the money after you put it on. Money well worth spending. His phone # can be found here on HDForums. Hope this helps. BTW the next day shipping was only $20 more.

I installed George Andersons extender on my 05 Ultra. Swapped out to a Mustang seat with a driver backrest, which cramped my Wifes seat. Im completely happy with Georges product, in both appearance and ease of install. George sent the Extender to me to see, and then I sent payment. Lets hear it for George Anderson "Doer of Things".

I used George Anderson kit on my 06 with detachable rack and it is great. Gave the wife all the room she needed. The instructions included with his kit do not show with the detachable rack but it is so easy anyway. Love it and George is great.

Deal with good people and get good results. If he continues to get honest people to deal with him he will keep doing as he has been.
