Default Ordered Custom Dynamics Tru-FLEX led strips

after a lot of research I have decided to use their Dual Color led Truflex smoke tubes for my rear lights in stead of the plasmas. Wanted amber turn and they only have those in 8 inch... too short for my baddad rear IMO...
only planning to run the 2 led tubes as my rear lights (with low profile led lit curved license plate; ordered from them as well)

going with 45+45 leds > is about 11.5 inch total length or so

I found out by ordering their Custom 2 version (you determine the length of the tubes; led strips are "cut" in 2 equal lengths in the tube), I saved 15 bucks a side

on top of that, now i will be able to choose my own config.
a. top half run/brake/turn, bottom run/brake or the other way around
b. top half run/turn, bottom run/brake or the other way around
c. all run/brake/turn

FYI their dual color leds will show amber when both red and amber signals are sent.

will post pics once I got it hooked up (next week or so).

1 word - WOW... they ARE bright.

Talked to Custom Dyn and they told me the plasma rods are basically the same as these, just the cover is different.

can you see the leds? yes, you can but they are really close to each other (90 leds on a strip of 11.x inch, do the math...

the only thing I will probably change is the cover. even with the smoked tube the leds are still very visible in the tube when the bike is off... yes, I am ****

had some window heat foil laying around so stuck it on one of the strips. looks cool (chrome alike) but during daytime way too reflective and taking the visibility away...
got some 35% window tint now, looks like it only takes away a bit of the brightness. Will play with that.

as we all probably know, it is hard to take good pictures (with phone) `with high light contrast...
pictures do NOT show the brake light, just 1 running and 1 running with right turn signal on.

total cost was about 305 including 45 dollar led lit lic plate holder and (biketronincs) load equalizer (plug and play).

Looks good, Im trying to decide on which setup to do.. I have a similar Baddad setup going on my bike right now Im eliminating the rear light bar.. Going with a LED plate like yours, if I want to do this as RUN/BRAKE/TURN is the load equalizer a must? I have no clue on wiring, so bare with me !!!

Looks great.
I have their LED Turn/Run/Stop, and they are bright!
I like the Biketronics EQ, true plug and play.
Good choice.

yes - it does not depend on run/brake/turn. it depends on if you run leds as TURN due to load the "blinker unit" needs to work correct).
Brake and run do not need the equalizer.

some more pics after I finished - 35% window tint on them
took her out for a ride again yesterday (68F here) , people are turning their heads lol

They look great man. You can't even tell they're there. Nice clean look.
I went with the Tru-Flex also...a little under 9". Great product and it's very bright. Using turn/run/stop.
