I had a fuelpak on my bike and had trouble with it. They replaced at Sturgis when I got there but said nothing was wrong with the old one. Then they said disconnect O2 sensors but I found my fuel mileage sucked. Ripped it out when I got home and got a PV from fuelmoto
Shoulda shoulda shoulda done that from the start.
Like mentioned, I would recommend a flash tuner over either, but out of your two choices I would go with the Power Commander. The Power Commander is more adjustable and has better support. You will need a PC for the Power Commander to update MAPS or make changes.
I like the Power Commander 5! I know it, understand it, and can adjust it!
Got a 02FLHPI that has cams, headwork, and PC III. WAS making 36-38mpg uphill, downhill, with the wind, against the wind, her babying it, me trashing it. Installed a retro PCV w/Autotune from F/M. With a map from Iclick, she is now getting 42-45mpg.
Running a PCV on the 09FLHTP stage two, getting 40-42mpg Trying to justify adding AutoTune. Know that Iclick's targets would gain me mileage. Think I'll ride her this year and MAYBE add AutoTune next winter?
Happy with it all so far on both bikes, easy to adjust, just need a laptop to tweek it.
We have Commander V's from Fuel Moto on both bikes and they work well. If I had it to do over again, I would go with the PowerVision. Again from FuelMoto.
