Default No left Blinker

Hey all I just bought a 2007 FLHT Ultra and having an issue every thing works great6 and im real pleased with this bike but when i start the bike and check my blinkers every thing is working just fine . How ever once im on theroad and I go to make a left turn i turn the signal light on and it will flash normall but then it starts to fluter then gowes out after this the security light comes on and then I have no left blinker the right one works fine. I can turn the key of then restart the bike and go on and some times the left blinker will work and some times it starts to flutter again and back to the security light . any Ideals on what may be causing this be for I take it in to the shop . got a lot of traveling to do so I dont really want to be on the waiting list at the HD shop if yo no what I mean.

Probably a left front or rear turn-signal bulb isn't seated correctly which will throw a code causing the security light to also flash. That's what I'd check first.

Don't turn left Agree with Ted, sounds like a front or rear bulb is either not seated correctly or bad.

On my 07 UC it ended up being a turn signal switch. My dealer has seen this a few times. Sometimes its the switch and sometimes its the module.

I heard that all the 07 Tour Bikes came with the warranty "Pre-Voided" to avoid any issues. All the the other BT will follow in 08 but the Sportsters aren't supposed to have the "Pre-Voided" warranty until 2010.

I had this happen to me when I bought my ride. Turned out that the bulb was a) not correctly seated, b) didn't have any bulb goop (sorry, drawinga blank and can't remember the correct nomenclature!), and c) one of the filaments was out. Took five minutes to fix.
