I have a 2013 Street Glide that is stock. I am putting MGS True Dual exhaust with either an RSD or Performance Machine air cleaner on it. I am not planning any additional performance mods and was wondering if I should buy the HD Race tuner or the Street tuner. Sounds like the street tuner will do what I need it to but want some thoughts from people that have one or the other before I spend the money. Thanks
Don't waste your time or money on the Street Tuner, get the Pro Race Tuner it's a little more money, but it will do so much more than the Street Tuner.
Buy the SEPST (super tuner) not the street tuner. According to the dealer and catalog the street tuner is only good for EPA compliant maps. If you install the pipes yourself then buy the tuner and cables from your dealer or online and load the map yourself. Then you can use the smart tune function to fine tune the bike. Or you can get a local dyno tune for the best possible tune.
When I did mine I talked to the tech at local HD shop. He told me the street tuner might work good enough. He then said the problem is if there is a flat spot anywhere in the rpm range you can't adjust just that spot. For instance it could be at the low rpm high rpm or worst right at your cruising rpm. If you have a problem anywhere the only way to fix it would be to go get the pro tuner. Made more sense to me to get the one that was fully adjustable at the beginning. With that said be prepared for a whole list of other tuners being sent your way lol.
Why are you only considering HD tuners? Lots of good alternatives out there with easier software and better options for the money.
Why not use a HD product to tune your HD? And if you don't mind enlightening me what are these better options the other tuners have that the SEPST doesn't have?

My comment was made toward the OP. You already have your mind made up. No sense in wasting either of our time trying to convince you otherwise.
