I am running the REV TECH 6 speed with .893/1 6th gear ratio for the tranny. My 99 has a front wheel odometer cable and is not electronic. The reason I mention this is because I am doing gearing changes at the pulleys from the tranny to the rear wheel. So when I was Stock with a 32/70 for a 3.37 final drive it was 2800 rpm at 70mph in 6th. Now I have a 32/65 for a 3.05 final drive and at 70 MPH 2560 rpm. I am getting ready for the final gear change after stretching a new 136 cog belt for 5000 miles and with a 34/65 pulley setup for a final drive 2.94I will be running 2480 rpm @ 70 MPH. Understand that my 6th gear is used at 70 plus mph and I usually cruise at 75 to 80 which gives me about 80mph @ 2800rpm which is the rpm where my weak motor pulls above 80 ftlbs of torque so I am still able to excelerate to over a 100mph in 6th with little to no effort. and there is always 5th gear if I want to hodrod the bike at high speeds. Gas mileage is driving this gearing thing and I can tell you I have not seen the dream mileages that I was hoping for so if my math test fails I will go back to the 3.37 for more hump on the bottom end and have some cool stuff for ebay sales?
