Default 2014 Speedometer / Tachometer Problem

Just checking to see if anyone else has had any issues with the Speedo / Tachometer Instrument Cluster (Gages) on 2014 Ultra Limited. I have what appears to be oil streaks on the inside of both the speedometer and the tachometer. This is the second unit that I have experienced this problem with. The first was replaced at around 5000 miles and the replacement is doing the same thing with less than 2000 miles since replaced by my dealer. It is not water or moisture condensation like I have experienced with other models as it does not form into droplets. The streaking starts at the top if the indicators and continues to worsen as time goes on. I suspect that it is some type of lubricant that is used on the mechanism during manufacture and it migrates to the inside of the glass. It isn't very noticeable unless outside with the sunlight shining on them. I don't normally even wash the bike, normally just clean with microfiber cloths & haven't done a lot of riding in the rain either. I am 100% certain that the streaking material is not water. - If you have a '14, take a look and let me know if you are having the same issue. - I have seen it on a couple of other bikes that I have looked at. - Thanks

I have it as well. Have not taken it in to the dealer yet. So far I am living with it.

I don't think this is related, but once. . .only once, i was going along doing about 60, and my speedo went to zero for about 2-3 seconds. Then it came back to 60. 6200 miles so far on my FLHXS since August 31.

No problems like that in 2900 miles with my '14 FLHX. But now I'm going to look at the gauges really well. OP, Thanks for the heads up!
