Good luck with your search. I searched for weeks and ending up buying 12" la choppers twin peaks bars. Just waiting on a couple install items to come in and then I will start the install.
Sbates08 is right, anything is better than stock!
11 inch Santee's put your hands right at the top of the fairing, excellent quality, and you won't beat the price. Mine were new $125 delivered off ebay and I couldn't be happier with them.
Doesn't matter really which one you choose. They're all better than stock. You'll wonder why you waited so long!!!
Yep I'm sure I"ll be happy I've always had apes 16' or 18's on my Harley's for the last 20 years always thought they were comfortable but am just finally getting used to the look on a bagger and wanting the comfort is helping.
I have KST Mayhems 10 3/4" being installed next week, can't wait!
I'm really liking KST also, I like the stainless part, I had never heard of them before and was on a trip with the wife down to Florida and seen them when we stopped at the Harley dealer in Birmingham, Al. about 3 years ago. When I talked to them last year they said they'd make them however tall I wanted them, they only offer the 6-bend bars in 13.5 on there website. When I first seen them I don't even think they were doing the Mayhems yet.
I have 13" cyclesmiths....... I'm 6' and they put my arms horizontal at shoulder height....... Comfortable to cruise with, sort of a bear in tight turns because of the width.
