Default Yellow pipes

A friend of mine gave me a set of Bassani 4 inch slip ons this past Summer. I decatted the head pipe and installed xied's. Really like the nice deep rumble at idle but it mellows out at 3000 rpms and I like that too. The problem is that the right slip on has a little bit of yellowing at the junction of the head pipe (this was already their when he gave them to me). It is barely noticeable, but I know it's there so it's bugging me. I recently purchased something called blue away from the dealer. It comes with an attachment for a drill. I have also heard of something called blue job available from Amazon. Waiting for the temperature to get back into the forties before I try the blue away. Anyone have any experience with either of these products. Do they work?

I had some yellowing on my CFR pipes right at the header junction because my dyno guy got a little to lean on a run. I ordered some blue job off amazon. This stuff is pretty amazing to me. It took off all the yellowing that you could see. I just used elbow grease. No drill attachments or anything. I was very pleased with the results.

Thanks , I will try the blue away first since I have already purchase it, and if that don't work I will order the blue job from Amazon. It may take several weeks for it to get warm enough outside. Predicted temp here Monday morning is ten below.3

I have yellowing on my 4" Rineharts (right hand pipe). Coincidently, friend gave them to me. Tried Blue Job, but did not work. Don't know history since they were a gift, will try to refrain from looking at that muffler Also tried chrome cleaner - did not work.

Rain X makes a polish for glass. A chemist engineer at my old job told me the chemical composition of the Rain X will remove the blue/yellow. I don't have heat shields on my shovelhead and it works great up around the exhaust ports. It is a super fine polish too so not too much rubbing or it can dull chrome. 12 oz bottle is way cheaper than the blue stuff made for pipes < $6.

I used Blue Away on my old bike. It definitely worked, although I should have used a better/softer rag. It left swirls... but again, I don't think that was as much the product as it was me.
