I get the same thing with certain helmets, mostly the one's with the textured nylon liner. The nylon kinda pulls at the hair and causes my head to itch.

I found two solutions, Arai helmets and Betty's helmet Slik. The Slik is no longer being made but maybe you could find one on ebay.

I use the Bell Custom 500 helmet with the retro shield. The silk liner is breathable, and doesn't itch me all up.

I usually keep my head shaved. Too hot for hair, and don't like helmet hair. Right now, being winter time, I have a head full of hair. If I don't use any hair products, I have no itch from a helmet. If I use even a slight amount of gel, my head itches like crazy with a helmet on. Maybe that's the answer. My ol never puts anything in her hair before a ride, and uses a bandana on her head to keep her hair in place. Also uses a leather hair pipe to keep the back from becoming a rats nest. Maybe worth a try?
