Have been considering/reading about having the street legal SE stage 4 kit installed in my 13 SG for about 6 months now. Having read many threads, I am ready to move forward, almost. Lots of comments on the pros. Would really like to hear from those that have done this what the cons may be, besides install and fuel costs. Anything I should know about that may make me regret my decision. Appreciate it!
Are you trying to keep your factory warranty?
I did the race stage 4 kit but opted to keep my se204 cam vise the 259. The only regret I got I could have got my heads done alot cheaper and I think the 58mm TB is a little to much for a 103, a built 107 would be right on the cusp of a 58mm TB. If you are not worried about warranty shop around.

Your only regret could be you can do it cheaper and better (more power) aftermarket. Having said that, if you want to keep your warranty it's a good way to go. Fuel mileage can suffer a bit but mostly because you twist the throttle even harder and more frequently. A well tuned performance upgrade can get similar mpg results as stock.

Warranty plays into it . Explain why the 58mm TB is too much? Thanks.
Dude, your about 5 hrs from fuel moto. The money you would save having them install there 107 with level B heads compared to a stage 4 103 would be a no brainer if I was that close.
It has to deal with the velocity and air speed that air can fill the chamber, I actually lost a peak number of torque when I upgraded from my cam'd 103 I went from 106 to 105 tq but I did gain 5 hp with the addition of the heads and TB. I did carry my tq curve further and I know peak numbers dont matter but I was told that I could get more by switching back to stock TB but did not want to pay for another tune. search the forums for se58mm TB you can read up on it.
