Interesting way to be remembered but a waste. His body will decomp and fall away underground as the bike will also rot away, his make shift casket will fail relatively soon and then the rest is history. My choice is cremated and ashes scattered to the wind as I enjoy being in the wind even as I won't know it anymore than he can know he is seated on the ride. I won't even waste the money for a pine box for any service, just a memorial service or party and done.
Yeah that "casket" is going to cave in in like a day.
Different though.

Caskets are not buried directly in the ground in most places. They have to be enclosed in a vault. These are normally concrete. In this case it was a modified septic tank. http://www.dispatch.com/content/stor...otorcycle.html
I bet he would have been fun to know. I don't think he would really give a dam if the dirt falls in or not. He got his wish and it doesn't hurt anyone...soooo.
kroozeabout.

You would imagine it would have to be sealed in something. Otherwise the environmentalist would be up in arms about contamination. Even if the fluids were completely drained and cleaned, environmentalist wouldn't want painted metal to be put in the ground.
Odd but kinda cool. Me personally...burn me and spread ashes. I don't want to take up space in a lot of land forever!
