Default RKC Performance!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm looking for advice for a 2000 RKC. Can anyone suggest options for more performance? My sportster was a '95 1200... jetted, K&N, pipes. Whats the norm for a 2000 injected bike?

Thanks in advance!

Bob

Sportsters can smoke baggers. Add pipes, free breathing air filter and a fuel mangement device will boost power.

Great choice! I ride a 2001 FLHRI, SE Big Bore w/203 cams, 16" apes, and have never had issues with my EFI - not that I wouldn't like a better EFI system if it didn't cost an-arm-and-a-leg.

It all depends on what you want to spend.

Read my sig. My 2000 pulls like a freight train the way it is set up.

The kit is about 150 bucks. You can bolt on the air cleaner yourself in about 20 minutes. You will have to have your dealer do the download. Dealers generally charge a hour's worth of labor to download the map.

Went to the stealer today... 1400.00 for SE computer and air cleaner. Can't i just do it myself? Install unit, air cleaner and a set of pipes that will work well then get it dynoed at my place of choice?

thanks,

Bob
