It looked low to me to, but it's just the angle of the pictures. Don't get me wrong the fender is obviously lower than factory but it won't scrape there is enough clearance.....I think.... Hahaha 06cummins, the paint color is discontinued from house of kolor, they still sell it but they're not making it any longer so if your gonna pull the trigger ur gonna have to do it soon or the color won't be available.... Just for info! Thanks for positive feedback.
Im not wanting the same color just giving me ideas on what to do. Did they spray the black first then a pearl gold over it? I'm thinking either black with an orange pearl or orange with a black pearl don't know if that would work.
Oldschool, my bike was damaged trailering to sturgis. My buddies bike fell into mine and mine fell I to the side of the trailer. I know I know that's what I get for trailering, but I got a bad hip and can't ride that long and we were only there for 3 days so it is what it is.
I believe the paint is mixed with the pearl? As I have said in most if not all of my posts I'm no wrench and no very little about paint and how to do it, but I learned how to look at paint samples and I have no problem taking someone else's ideas and tweeting them a lil bit and making them my own.. It is what it is... Thanks for all the positive comments, I will post pics in the direct sunlight when the white stuff is gone, probably not for awhile supposed to get 5-8 more inches this weekend.
I was just looking back over the pics and I just realized that the first pics of the fairing and rear fender wasn't finished. Please tell me they weren't finished. Surely there's black Pearl sprayed over the gold. I've been sittin here wondering how they could look like shiny gold till they were installed and now they look black. I don't know jack about paint but I shoulda caught that.

I know how bad that sucks, I had my buddies night rod fall on my nightrain while they were in his toy hauler coming back from Myrtle Beach bike week and I already had a custom paint job from vivid dragon. Luckily for me no paint was touched and just had to readjust my mirrors and he lost a brake lever.
I think the only damage I've ever had to any of my bikes was from trailering!
Have you ever been to sturgis? How did you like myrtle beach bike week? We were thinking of going .... Let me know pls!
Yes my wife is from SD so we attend Sturgis when we can, I'm only a couple hours from Myrtle Beach so I go to the spring and fall every year If I'm around. If you had to chose between spring and fall Myrtle bike week go to spring event May 9 – 18, 2014. Do not be confused with the second spring bike week, its kind of a crotch rocket thing from May 23 to May 26, 2014 and called http://www.blackbikeweek.us/
Ive have accidently went during this week and even tough it was fine the police are a lot more strict and you don't see many Harleys.
