Colonial Harley in Richmond, VA. will take care of you. Good peeps there...
If that's the dealer with the windowed dyno room to the right when you walk into the service area, I have to agree.
My buddies bike was towed there with a flat on our way to Maggie Valley last year. The owner gave us a personal tour of the whole dealership. The whole place is super clean and they specialize in high horse power Harley upgrades,i.e. they do a lot of 120R transplants. They will only use HD parts which was somewhat of a turn off for me but I understand where their coming from. I think the owner said they have the only dyno that can handle a trike in the area.
Bayside has a Dyno... I have never used it though. Bayside is a good dealer. My brother lives in Richmond and uses Colonial and has been happy with them ( the Dyno tune ) Nobody local does the Powervision... Nobody anywhere really, except Fuel Moto.
I want to re-open this thread as I have done some more work to my engine this winter. Still looking for a good dyno tuner in the southeast VA/northeast NC area. I went to Colonial HD last year and got the bums rush. Bike was behind the glass on the dyno for 3 1/2 hours, but the guy only spent about 1 hour tuning my bike. He spent the rest of the time messing with other bikes off and on. It was running a bit lean to start and when he finished the curves looked identical (very erratic) from where they started but the F/A ratio was OK, which means all he basically did was a global enrichenment. When I asked to talk to the tuner, but I was told by the service manager that he was too busy. BU^& SH*@. I was charged a base price, but I didn't get what I was looking for. I would have gladly paid by the hour for a first class tune, whatever it cost. Will never go back and would advise anyone else to stay away. So, any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.
