Default Biketronics question.

So as some of you know Im doing an 08 and a 2011 bike.
Adding fenders stretched bags speaker lids, paint new stereos ect.

I finished the 2011 last weekend for the stereo. Sony/biketronic/7.1 speakers/Fosgate amp and 6x9 speakers. Worked great. Plugged in bike tronics and the thing works great and sounds great. Stripped that bike for paint. He is going flat black so no inner fairing removal.

Now my 08. Got my inner fairing back(shiny black). Yesterday I spent the whole day putting my gauges in . Building amp mount ect. Just like the 2011.

When I went to the 2011 bike to get my cd out of his stereo his volume was up high. I went to turn it down. No handlebar controls. WTF. So I took my orange biketronics module off my bike put on his. Now his worked.

So I put it back on my bike worked for about an hr while I adjusted the amp. Then no handle bar controls..

So now I have 2 units straight from biketronics that wont work the hand controls.
I tried the neg battery removal and no go. I will call them Mon morning. But really frustrating both bikes killed there little red box.

Read up on the rants and raves on how good.

Not a big deal. everything else is still in paint. Just wanted this part done.

Im expecting no problems with the return because I bought from them direct.

Anyone with this problem?

Yesterday was rough. I could hear drones of Harleys going down near by hwy 89.
It was 72 deg in Northern AZ. And my bike is in shambles....

had the same problem, found out that disconnecting and reconnecting positive power supply to your stereo would fix the handlebar control problem (I have 4ga wire direct from battery to fairing to feed my entire stereo 12v needs), I then made a switch to do that quickly, then after a month or so my AVC quit working entirely and nothing I can do to fix it. So decided to return that little red box for warranty...
