Nice ,but doesn't it also direct water back under the tire when raining?

I've ridden it in pouring rain so bad that I couldn't see more than ten feet in front of me, I didn't notice any traction problems. The mud flap is creating a puddle just behind your front wheel, and you are moving forward.

Those rear flaps look good on triglide. What is their purpose? What do you notice if you don't have em on? The front ones would help keep "stuff" away from areas around/under bike...I don't see any yet I would run to buy? I guess I want one that does the job but looks sorta ok? That may not be possible.

Check out this site. He will custom make a flap for your bike which does not require any drilling to install. He uses industrial strength Velcro. It works really well, and has been on my bike for over 2 years including my ride to Milwaukee and back last summer. I've attached a picture of the flap on my bike to give you an idea of what it looks like.

Well I drilled the 6 holes in the fenders (ouch) I better like them and stick with the look, or it is a new set of fenders!
