Wow, $245 labor and $5 for parts..or $20 Harbor Freight puller and a $5 parts..priceless. Guess he priced it at 2 hours labor..probably right..the mechanic has to PP sometime and he will do it right. I am personally doubting that China bearing is better then Harleys' source...probably Canada

I got two SKF 25mm bearings, new one, open box. Was gonna use them on my 21 but switched my axle and went with 1" bearings. $25 shipped. Local indy installed them free.
The ABS bearing (one with ABS pickup) has to come from HD, the bearing on other side of the wheel or any 25mm non ABS bike can use the 6205 2rs bearings, many different choices out there
my front bearings failed at 2500 miles.i don't trust these new bearings as they don't last very long and are **** to failing. for the cost of the bearings it's crazy not to replace them. i do my own work, but if you are paying to have the wheels taken off and on it's not worth the risk of having them fail 50 miles down the road. just having the piece of mind knowing you have replaced the junk bearings and are riding on new ones that should be good at least for alittle while.
Ok I see the link now how many total do I need to do front and back? Is there one in the pulley
I just picked some up for my 09 at the dealer and they are now deep groove bearing, my old ones where not, I see Amazon sells the deep groove also, you need four total, the two pulley bearing are larger.

are you saying that HD changed the bearings? if so ,what's the new part number.
