Default I just won't do it

I'm not for a second trying to sound holier than thou at all, but I won't even throw my leg over a bike after I've had even a single beer. For those of you who decide to get on down the road after having been drinking the night before, PLEASE - PLEASE - PLEASE be careful and remember to hydrate.

Should we hydrate with a beer?

Absolutely can Vickers, I've tricked myself into thinking that it is possible to hydrated with many beers before. I did, after all, serve this Great Nation for 24 years in the United States Navy.

Learned in my DUI course that big number of DD accidents occur on mornings of January 2 and after Super Bowl...folks think they slept it off after a couple hours and reaction times are down.

For me, any time is a good time to ride.

I never rode hungover, I saved the hangover for home after the ride.

Very interesting read. I have ridden with a hangover and I have not ridden because of a hangover. Good to know your own limitations I guess. If I don't feel like riding I don't. No alcohol while actually on the bike.

Ice cold Gatorade saved me one morning in Madras, Oregon after way to much Tequila the night before during dinner.
The large family size jug.
