Guys I have a 2011 Streetglide fitted with Ikon rear shocks and progressive fork springs still handles like crap has anyone used progressive monotubes and noticed enough improvement for the cost......Thanks
I have the PS Monotubes on my '07 Ultra and like them.
Improved ride and when they are installed, you never need to change fork oil again.
Price of the Monotubes is paid for with the savings of no future fork oil changes.
I have PS 412's on my rear. Stock air shockes were fine but the improvement of the PS shocks was very noticeable with the first ride.
I have the PS fork springs on my '02 Sportster and am happy with them, along with 440 rear shocks.
Hope you get your ride figured out.
A comfortable ride is important!
I put the 944's on the rear of mine last year in the spring the end of June I put the mono tubes in, then at the end of August we took our two week trip from Chicago to Seattle and back, all I heard from the wife was "why didn't I change the suspension years ago"
Do you ride mostly solo or 2-up? These bikes can ride OK solo with most aftermarket stuff on them, however with two people cheap suspension craps out. You will find that very few members mention passengers, so take care with the advice you follow!
