I asked and my agent said i couldnt insure it for more than the blue book value . He did say if something happened to my bike that all i would need to do is show proof via receipts and and or pics and it will be covered. AAA insurance.
I saved all of my receipts and insured my bike for the replacement value including all of the upgrades. Well worth the few extra $$$ per year IMO if anything were to happen to my bike.
I droped my full coverage insurance a month ago. My insurance cost went down $60 a month. It was that or sell the bike it was just costing to much a month to own when you consider the short riding season here. That said I can afford to loose the bike so as they say let the buyer beware.
you can afford to lose the bike, but you can't afford 60 bucks a month? at that rate, you could pay off a new road king in say, 333 months
