what are my options for new handlebars? I'd like dragbars, not sure if thats possible tho

also, what can i do to the suspension for a better ride on crappy streets and what are some cheap ways to get some more bottom end torque?

thanks

How many miles have you ridden with the stock bars? IMO, it's hard to tell what you really want when it comes to bars until you have logged enough miles to truly find fault with the way the stock bars "fit" you? If that makes any sense. As far as drag bars are concerned on a Street Glide[:'(]. Suspension can be dealt with any number of aftermarket shocks for the rear and springs/emulators for the front. When I installed the chrome legs on my Street Glide the only thing I did was refill with Motul 15wt fork oil. A little firmer and it didn't affect the bike negatively at all to me. More bottom end, no replacement for displacement...........or you could try gearing it lower.

Smoke, you can have the bars made for you at a local chopper shop.Just tell them what style you want and have them measure you up.It's 1 1/4" steel tubing and the drag style are the easiest because there's really no serious bends in them.If they try and charge you over 250. tell them to put the pipe down.I have to find this pic of an road glide with some drag bars on it.Looks pretty cool to me cuz its different.I'm haveing some more bars made for 220.16"apes that i designed and had measured to my comfort riding zone.Similar to the ones i have now.
Torque---Get a bigger cam!
Better- ride dont lower your bike!!!!Esp the front end!!!!JMO
Theres better shocks than the stock ones, but you should get the same length as the stock.
I lowered my bike front and rear. The ride is ok to me but its not the same as stock.

I dont have the bike yet. Just planning ahead for my first mods when i get her. stock bars are the almost the same as the ultra classic and RK i rode before. theyre gay so they dont fit me. i hear you on the displacement but for starters, ill stay stock until i blow the bitch up

right on G, i fiigured i'd have to custom make the bars. show me that pic of that RG with the drags, i'd love to see it.

even tho the lowered SGs look sick, i wont do it. might as well buy a chopper. i like to own ricers in the mountains.

ill look into the bigger cam tho. just want enough torque to get the front end up for wheelies

thanks bro
