Missed out on scoring a great deal off ebay due to cell phone coverage....new in box complete tour-pack detach kit for $150. normally $329. S*** happens.

 

I waited until the last few seconds to outbid a guy on an item a while back. I waited until the clock ticked down and was going to score big.....(not sure what item was now) only to hit BID with a few seconds left. The computer timed out (wanted me to re-log in) and by the time I did the Auction was over! LOL. Like you said "Sh/t Happens!

 

I know what you mean! Had that happen a few times myself.

 

Been there done that....I laughed it off.

My cell phone signal goes from 4G, 3G, down to no signal and back constantly within seconds and I'm not that far from town. Multiple phones and service chats. No help.

 

Never have that problem using my computer.

 

I hear you Joe12RK and Leftcoaster. I subscribe to Auction Stealer and normally use computer. Was just browsing Ebay on phone while at work (no access to computer). It wa a buy now item. I lost coverage (at airport where coverage is sporadic at best) while in midst of the purchase. Oh well.............

I used to use a service called "Auction Sniper" I quit using it because it would submit the bid 10 to 30 seconds before the auction ended. That was too much time left and I got sniped a few times by someone else. One time somebody placed their bid literally at the last second.

fyi: auction stealer allows you to lower bid to 3 secs.
