I finally got to get a bike. I found it and bought it.
Who am I kidding!!! My wife finally let me buy it!!! And I thank her every hour or so since Friday.
2013 road Glide Custom. 5000 miles. Stage one exhaust. Took a long time to find that color with ABS. Because of the weather and road salt, I am letting them deliver it to me.
I am going to let it be stick till I ride it for while. I will get a larger windshield. (Hence the questions on windshields.)
That color looks superb on the RG ! Nice bike.
My Baby Brother got a 13 RG in denim black, he said he was going to leave it stock but a week later had a D&D 2into 1 some sort of programmer, big honkin air filter and was planning on cams and heads, then after 15k his motor blew ! Sitting in the dealer now with the new motor in a crate just delivered. He is now thinking of keeping it pretty stock and extending the warranty when it runs out.
Dealer was stand up and told him he needed to bring the bike in from excessive oil consumption, rear cyl was toast and the oil pump was self destructing, there was metal all through the motor.
Warranties can be awesome.
Now I understand why my wife didn't flinch when I asked, yes asked, her about buying a Harley. She gets everything she wants. Did she return the favor? By the way I went to see a RK walked out with a ultra limited. Gotta love her. You enjoy your ride and please your wife.
