Default Props for Utopia backrest

I posted several weeks ago asking about backrest options and got a lot of good input from everyone. This site is so nice to have available because there is so much good info on it. There were several who suggested the Utopia backrest and that is what I purchased. It has been ridiculously cold here so I just got the backrest installed and did my first 30 mile ride with it. All I can say is AWESOME. Very high quality, fairly easy install with a little adjusting to get it just right, and very comfortable on the ride. Lots of adjustments can be made with the backrest so that makes it very user friendly. I have a 2009 Ultra Classic and it was a simple bolt on install with just a little bit of adjusting. I am very pleased and I think anyone looking for a backrest will find this one to their liking. Has a nice zippered pouch on the back and folds forward out of the way for passenger loading access and is very sturdy. In addition, Bob at Utopia is one of the nicest individuals I have ever purchased from. So to all of you who suggested the Utopia backrest I thank you. I did not know about this backrest until I read about it here. Thanks guys.

How easy is it to remove? I have the HD non-adjustable one and because of arthritis my grip ain't what it used to and I have problems when removing or installing the back rest. From the video on the web-site it looks like you just remove a retaining pin.

That is all you have to do. The retaining pin is really a bolt and nut so it is secure on the bike but then all you have to do is unbolt/screw the retaining pin and the seat comes right off. Great design.
