Default Headlight burning out

Hey everyone, is anyone else having to replace your headlight often. Every couple of months I have to buy a new headlight for my 2008 EG standard. It seems to be the low beam every time. The high beam will still work but I hurry to replace the bulb in case the high beam goes too. Thanks

this could be a bad ground wire, so check that connection.

or bad bulb choice.

if you look at the boxes for the xtravision bulbs, you'll see that the life of the "brighter" bulbs is shorter.

In AZ it is legal to run high beam in the daytime, so I do.
This equals out the wear on the filaments...I hope.

I've run the same bulbs in my Ultra and Sportster and have never blown a bulb. Using cheap bulbs?

I don't think the bulbs I'm using are cheap, maybe they are cheap ones.I'm not buying the most expensive either. I tried the bulb the local HD shop gave me and also tried $13 bulb from auto parts store.

Have a look here.
It looks like one of your battery terminals, the battery to ground or battery to the Maxi-Fuse connection could be loose. Good luck!
