did a 107 big bore build on my 2013 ultra with big boyz head work red shift 657 cams bee hive high lift springs starts good and sounds good just have a popin at ideal it sounds like one of the acr in popin how do you know if one of the acr are bad how do i test them
thanks
they open up when u push the starter button.. think its wire 19 on ecm plug. pretty sure u will have to pull tank off to get at acr plug connections under your tank.
pull spark plugs out and put a compression guage in one spark plug hole at a time. unplug connection to one acr with compression guage in spark plug hole. u will have to pull air cleaner off to force electric throttle plate open or reading will be lower or take longer to get compression up since butterfly is only open a hair for idling. with acr unplugged turn bike over pushing starter button get cylinder reading. then plug acr back in bleed off compression guage and test again , mine dropped about 45 lbs if i recall when energized.
move compression guage to other cylinder and repeat.
sure your exhaust gaskets arent leaking they can be a real bitch to seal sometimes and you will get a popping sound.
not sure if u would hear and acr popping since they vent directly into the exhaust port,
