Has anyone seen the S&S Power Tune Duals with the Rinehart 4 inch on a 2014 Ultra with the Twin Cooled 103? Just wondering if its worth the money..... Heard you lost a little power and torque with the V&H True Duals.
I started out with the Stage I download and the 4" Rineharts , added a S&S intake then added the S&S Power Tune True Duals, everything was an improvement in performance, best money spent was the headers, great performance gain, did not notice any low end power loss.
End result is , stage 1 download, S&S intake, S&S power tune true duals with 4" Rineharts.
Bike has awesome power off idle and high rpm.
Acceleration at highway speeds without downshifting is great, and pulls hard without downshifting.
Just a note, the Ultra isn't twin cooled, only the Limited is. I run V&H Power Duals, with SuperTrapp Fatshots. I have the 4" Rineharts with V&H Dresser Duals on my Road King. I prefer the SuperTrapps on the touring bike that I want to hear the radio etc better.
Remember though, that the S&S aren't "true duals". They look like it, but actually have a hidden crossover. This is to reduce or eliminate power loss. That's the reason I am going with them over the RC or VH duals.
Thanks Gunny, She's a Limited. Left that out on the first post.
Hers a little twist, though........... Just spoke with a buddy who has a set of 4 inch RC Component Excaliburs he'll sell me for 150 bucks. Only about 2K on them and they look good. I like the Reinharts, but 150 versus 500 is hard to pass up.
Anyone see any issues if I mount them in combo with the S&S heads?
