So I picked the HOGILAC (03 100th Anni EG) from the shop. Put it in too get it Mapped and the guy said he got put the best match on it. It has CFR Megaphone 4" exhaust with a 555 cam (brought it used and this is the info I got on the cam). It runs hard while riding but when I stop at if dies and starts right back up. Any one running CFR's (4" slip ons). Would like to correct if I can before I getr rid of pipes...., like the look and love the sound. Looking for mapp, please help
CFRs are notoriously hard to tune and (from what I've seen) are lacking down low. I actually gained power on my build going from closed caps to open on my Fatshotz. "Backpressure" may or may not be a good thing depending on the rest of your combination.
Would like to hear more on this, I want the CFR slip on's but a lot of talk about the tune. I have a thundermax and they say no problem, it will tune itself quickly.
I heard the same thing about Tmax..., but I have PC. They are awesome slip ons. I have not seen anyone else with them while out riding. Lotta compliments on sound.., been told that my bike sound like 10 bikes pulling up.., LOL. Yomay not have an issue if you dont have cam
