You will love the ride. I purchased a FLHRS back in 2004 and it has been a great bike. I have put 19,000 miles on mine and have had no problems. In fact I had the 95 ci kit installed before I took delivery and it has been great. Keep up with the maintenace and evrything will be fine. Great Looking Bike!!!!!!!
Hey DCRANER, congrats on the ride. Love mine! Any news on the turn signal relocation/windshield situation? Thinking of doing the same to mine soon.
Dealer told me all they have to do is grind a notch in the windshield frame / side so it clears the wiring harness for the turn signals now on the forks. Figure I will have that done at 1,000 mile service so if they screw it up they are responsible.
Nice bike. Is it normal to run the cables behind the crash bars? Just curious and wondering about possibly scratching tank.
The clutch cable is behind the crash bar, but dealer put a rubber coated clip on the upper turn signal bracket, so at full lock left turn the cable is about 1/4 " from tank.
