This is for 2013 touring models and older. I took some Craig Vetter vents and installed them on my 8" windshield. First decide where vents are going to go and tape around the holes to stop scratching. I drilled the hole with a 3" hole saw and then sanded to fit with a tall cup and sand paper. Here is the link for the vents (http://www.craigvetter.com/pages/onl...nt_alert1.html).
I tried it out yesterday with a fullface helmet on and it works great. No more buffeting. Usually when I have my face shield up the buffeting will shake it and snap it shut, not now. The vents were about $25.00 and I had an old windshield. Will give a thorough test when I travel to Laughlin in April. I'm 5'10" and use a Sundowner seat.
that looks like a great idea. i had vetter windjammer fairings on several of my bikes...always looked and handled well. a windjammer type fairing would look nice on the new street 750 harley.
Hey themouth, make a post on how that Clearview works out for you. I was thinking of ordering one of them myself till I saw Sporty 66 post here. I hardly ever wear my full face because of the buffeting.
