Main wiring harness
Talked to dealer and they said wiring harness for carb and efi touring models for 04/05 years are the same one. Looked in my part manual and it only list one harness for 05 that I could see, the only thing about carb was the ignition harness diagram. Could anyone help enlighten me. Part # 70245-04a was given and said it works for carb/efi

Doing more research on project, so far from what im finding out(true/untrue not sure?) there are a couple of things to look for. Yes Harley carb models were avail to 06, but wiring harness have changed. Looks like 01-03 had 2 different harness for touring models and 04-06 shared a common wiring harness. Looking at a wiring diagram for an 06 in the parts book the wiring harness is both for carb and efi. Got a harness from a buddy off and 05 and it looks like to me like the efi part just unhooks with connectors. Ive took a few pic to show that. Also hopefully my link will work to show wiring diagram. Basically still trying to verify if carb and efi main harness are interchangeable from 04-06.
