The instructions for these say that it may be necessary to drill a hole in the back of the reflector housing to run the wires that need to tap in for run/brake/turn function. I really like the idea of these lights, but the drilling part has me on the fence a bit. Anyone install these that can offer any feedback on the process? This would be on bullet style turn signals if that makes any difference.

Since the cluster totally covers the reflector, it's non issue. The reflector just becomes a support for the cluster backing plate.
Don't over think it. Pull the reflector, drill your hole, run the wire, and slide the reflector back in

We have C/D turn signal cluster's on both our Road Glide and our Deluxe. Didn't have to drill anything. Plug and Play easy as it gets.
We love um.
Also lifetime guarantee which they do honnor. We had a few spots on the cluster of one that did burn out after about a year and a half. Just a phone call took care of it, no hassle.

It's easy....you have to drill. However when you drill the outer you come in contact with the little rubber inside. Be careful, I drilled to far because the rubber messed up my feel and I drilled into the wires.
Yeah easily done like Shooter says, pull the reflector out, drill and when you put back in you have to really make sure everything right back to make sure get lense back on

Yes you are correct on this. We have the module on ours. A little more expensive, but no drilling or splicing. You also have different flash patterns you can set to your liking. Trouble free.
Thanks for the replies. I will probably go ahead and order them. I had considered the triple play module, but I think I like the idea of different colors for the turn signals. I can add a strobe brake light in the center and it should be pretty eye catching.
I'm about to install CD Dymamic Ringz on the front and CD amber turns on the back. Bullet housings. Any issues having to trim the gasket or do the lenses snap right back on? Instructions say I might have to trim the rubber gasket.
