I'd like to lower my 13 limited, however I find it hard to find any lowering kit to work with the HD touring shocks I put on. Anyone know of a lowering kit that will work for sure?? Thanx
It works on my 14 limited! On the LA chopper site it shows it fits your bike! Maybe give them a call .
I like the LA chopper lowering blocks because the lower mount isn't at a extreme angle and it fits over the lower shock mount & bolts on to the swing arm. Solid design!
I have a 2014 SGS and I have tried installing the LA Choppers lowering blocks. In order to give the shock enough clearence you will need to use spacers. However, if you use the same spacers top and bottom your shock will hit the saddle bag. If you have a SG with the Harley air shocks you will not need the spacers but the rubber boot will rub against the lowering block.
I have also tried the road 6 style which changes the shock angle and again the SGS Premium shocks do not work with the 1" drop. You need to go all the way down to the second setting which is a 2" drop. I wasn't comfortable with the clearence after the 2" drop.
In the end I decided to sell my Premium Hand adjustables and get progressive 11.5 444's. I also did the low single cartridge premium front forks.1" lower in the front and 1/2" lower in the back did the trick. So far so good! It got my feet flat enough for me to beable to back the bike up while in the saddle.

Are you saying you tried installing them with the hand adjustable shocks? I think you are only supposed to use the stock air socks with them.
I installed Pingel blocks. Yes they are more expensive, but Pingel has always put out quality products.
And some of those cheap *** blocks look scary as hell.

Do you experience any bottoming out with the 11.5s? Solo or 2 up? I have been considering progressive shocks and would love to get a half inch back but not willing to sacrifice the ride. Been looking at the 944s too, but many reviews on here don't seem to be impressed. Btw they are going on a 13 streetglide
lower it when needed and rides better than with the hand adjustable premium shocks when aired up. Wife can almost touch flat footed when down. Aired up it is easily an inch or more lower than stock.
